Job Introduction Under the direction of the Chief Compliance Officer, be the global lead in the development of web-based and in-person compliance training and deliver compliance training and guidance to Magna employees on compliance related matters within the assigned region.
Major Responsibilities • Global lead to work with the other team members and third party service providers to develop web-based and in-person training 
• Global project lead on key compliance initiatives as assigned by Chief Compliance Officer
• Deliver in-person compliance training for employees in the region
• Partner with the Group General Counsels and Group Compliance Officers at our 7 operating Groups to provide support and advice 
• Partner with other functional departments (such as HR, Purchasing and Mark ting/Communications) to coordinate compliance program initiatives
• Some travel within the United States and Canada required
Knowledge and Education • University or college degree in law, finance, communications or instructional design 
• American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) certification or equivalent an asset 
Work Experience • 4+ years of practical experience in a corporate or legal environment
• Experience with Microsoft Project or other project management software
Skills and Competencies • Proactive, confident extrovert 
• Experience developing creative and compelling training 
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to tailor your message to your target audience and communicate complex issues clearly and persuasively
• Strong project and people management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks at the same time 
• Pragmatic self-starter with excellent problem-solving ability 
• Impeccable attention to detail in written communications 
Work Environment • Standard office environment
• Some travel may be required: both domestic and international
