The Legal Services Division of the City of Toronto is seeking an experienced construction law litigation lawyer for a permanent position. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of five years of experience in defending construction law claims, including lien claims.
You will provide litigation services on a broad range of matters, including the defence of construction claims and advisory work on potential litigation.
You must be a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as negotiation skills. You have a demonstrated ability to provide sound legal advice. Please comment on any experience you have in defending large document claims involving the use of e-discovery software.
