Legal Assistant

Robert Half Legal is looking to assist our client, a well regarded law firm, in finding a Labour and Employment/Litigation legal Assistant. 

Your responsibilities in this role

- Ensure documents have copies in hard form as well as within the electronic document system

- Provide special reception and secretarial support

- Assist in preparation of exhibit binders for depositions, hearings and trials

- Take incoming phone calls, lending an extra ear when phone lines are busy

- Arrange correspondence, pleadings, and service on parties

- Prepare court filings and file electronically as required

- Prepare various documents and correspondence

- Maintain consistent confidentiality

- Assist attorneys with key discovery and client intake

- Maintain the case calendar and observe deadlines

Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma from a community College or Equivalent 

- Strong attention to detail

- 5+ years of previous litigation experience
