Our client, a downtown prestigious professional association has created a new role in their Practise Supports and Resources department. While working with other Counsel team members you will act as a subject matter expert and a primary source of knowledge and interpretative guidance for licensees relating to the profession’ s ethical and professional responsibility. You will respond to an array of complex issues and concerns from licensees, continue to research to enhance the resources guide and participate in presentations outside of the organisation to promote the practise management initiatives. This is ideal for a proactive legal professional who has previous coaching experience, has practiced law within a variety of different areas and wants to be part of building a successful Resource program available to the members of this profession.
An LLB or equivalent education and training and a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada
Minimum 7 years practicing law as a sole proprietor or a mid sized law firm in a variety of areas within the law.
Excellent grasp of designing, delivering and evaluating relevant competence resources
Ability to produce and organize written material in a concise format for presentation.
