We currently have an opening for a Legal Assistant – After Hours. This position requires a client-serviced individual who can produce large volumes of high quality work under tight deadlines. The successful candidate will have exceptional technical skills (able to work with corrupt/damaged documents) and the ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment. In addition, the incumbent must be detail and results oriented, with superior proofreading and organizational skills.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Hours of work:  5:00PM to 12:30AM, Monday to Friday

Position Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • Successful incumbents will have a Community College Certificate in a Legal Administration program or equivalent
  • Corporate and/or litigation experience would be considered an asset
  • Strong technical skills (Adobe Pro & MS Office – Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • You will be a team player, have a positive attitude and professional image
  • Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role. 
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
