Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP is currently seeking a Corporate Services Assistant to work in our Vancouver Office, reporting to the Manager of Corporate Services. This position will appeal to candidates who enjoy a fun, challenging position in an office with a great culture. The primary responsibilities of the position are outlined below:
Preparation of annual consent resolutions for B.C. and Federal corporations;
Preparation of B.C. Federal and extra-provincial annual reports and attending to filings with applicable registries;
Preparation and filing of proprietorship ad general partnership registrations;
Oversight/coordination of our larger corporate group of companies;
Arranging for historical records to offsite storage and retrieval of closed files;
Updating ALF corporate data base and corporate minute books;
Updating electronic minute books;
Attending to name and company searches in various jurisdictions;
Miscellaneous legal assistant duties including accounts, correspondence and maintenance of files and records;
Excellent command of spelling and grammar;
Completion of a Legal Administrative Assistant course;
Familiarity with ALF Corporate system is an asset;
Strong organizational skills;
Ability to work well within a team as well as independently.
